1. INTRODUCTION:
RUDI is committed to offering high-quality products and ensuring customer satisfaction. This document outlines the terms and conditions of RUDI’s product warranty, in accordance with the Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of November 16, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, as well as Directive (EU) 2019/771 of the European Parliament and of the Council of May 20, 2019, concerning certain aspects of sales contracts for goods, amending Regulation (EC) No. 2017/2394 and Directive 2009/22/EC, and repealing Directive 1999/44/EC.

2. WARRANTY DURATION:
The legal warranty offered by RUDI is valid for three (3) years from the date of product delivery to the end consumer, as required by current European and Spanish regulations. During this period, RUDI is responsible for any non-conformity defects that may arise.
3. WARRANTY COVERAGE:
This warranty covers the following:
- Non-conformity defects: As defined by Directive (EU) 2019/771, this includes any failure that prevents the product from being in conformity with the sales contract. Defects include:
- Manufacturing defects: Issues arising from the production process that affect the product’s proper function or appearance.
- Material defects: The use of defective materials that compromise the product’s durability or usability.
- Structural misalignments: Problems in the structural integrity that may arise from proper and normal use of the product.
4. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS:
The warranty does NOT cover:
- Normal wear and tear resulting from regular product use.
- Damage caused by improper use, negligence, unauthorized alterations, incorrect assembly, installation, usage, and maintenance, or repairs carried out by unauthorized personnel.
- Damage caused by burns, cuts, abrasions, creases, marks, scratches, or other damages caused by animals or improper or incorrect use of the product.
- Incorrect use and maintenance of the product, including any treatment with non-recommended cleaning products.
- Damage caused by external factors, such as accidents, fires, floods, extreme weather conditions, or other events beyond RUDI’s control.
- Natural variations in color or texture resulting from normal product use and/or maintenance that does not comply with the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Premature wear or normal aging of the product.
- Use and contact with chemicals such as acids, solvents, dyes, paint, ammonia, lacquers, or other non-recommended products.
- Damage caused during transport if the item is not returned in its original condition and packaging.
5. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE:
To exercise the warranty right, the customer must follow these steps:
- Notification: Inform RUDI of the defect as soon as possible within the warranty period. The notification should include a description of the defect, the purchase date, and proof of purchase.
- Product evaluation: RUDI may request a prior inspection of the product to determine whether the defect is covered by the warranty. In this case, the customer is required to provide RUDI with credible evidence of the defect: both photos and videos.
- Available solutions: If the defect is confirmed to be covered, RUDI may choose to:
- Repair the product at no cost.
- In this case, the customer will bear the cost of shipping the product to RUDI’s facilities for repair, as well as the cost of shipping the repaired product back.
- Replace the defective product with a new one.
- In this case, the customer will bear the cost of shipping the product to RUDI’s facilities for review, as well as the cost of shipping the new product.
- Refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not feasible.
- Response time: RUDI commits to handling the claim and providing a solution within a reasonable timeframe, in accordance with applicable regulations.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
RUDI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product, nor for damages exceeding the purchase value of the defective product.
7. WARRANTY MODIFICATION:
RUDI reserves the right to modify the terms of this warranty at any time, without affecting warranties issued for products purchased before such modification.
